btv.intro

btv.intro.show()

btv.intro.show() — draw the intro screen in the current window, as :intro does. It works in any session, and btv.g.intro = false only stops the one drawn at startup.

The window must show an empty, unnamed, unmodified buffer (:enew gives one): the intro is drawn below that buffer’s single line, never over text, so on any other buffer this raises. It goes the ways the startup intro goes: the first edit, another buffer in the window, :e file, or a split showing the buffer twice.

Defined in intro.lua.

btv.intro.dismiss()

btv.intro.dismiss() — clear the intro screen, if it shows.
