btv.cmdline_complete.setup(opts)

btv.cmdline_complete.setup{ docs = true }: enable the engine. docs toggles the params/help preview pane (Phase 3; default true). A bare call enables it with defaults. Failing loud on a non-table argument (no silent stub).

btv.cmdline_complete.catalog()

btv.cmdline_complete.catalog() -> every command the : line knows, as a list of { name, synopsis, description, user }: the curated built-in commands first, then the registered user commands (user = true, with their usage as the synopsis and their desc as the description). A required argument is spelled {arg} in the synopsis, an optional one [arg]. The commands picker lists this.
